The project, in cooperation with entrepreneurs, start-uppers, digital and transversal skills experts, as well as developers of technical solutions in training interventions will couple in a training manner the ‘wise’ and informed use of digital skills with the start-up route from idea to business, to establishment and further strengthening and development.

This will be achieved through the development of a modular, online training provision setting up the scenery of start-up development phases, along the lines of the appropriate knowledge and use of digital skills and tools throughout the life-cycle of a start-up, Formation – Validation – Growth.

The project will build upon the pooling in of digital natives profiles, start-up contexts, and entrepreneurial attitudes among the target group in 4 EU countries (Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain), in order to attain an EU perspective which goes beyond national contexts.

Methodological framework for ‘zooming in’ digital skills for young start-uppers.

Methodological framework for ‘zooming in’ digital skills for young start-uppers.

The objective here is to develop a methodological framework based on solid secondary and primary research, determining the optimal methodologies and training pathways that couple the start-up phases (Formation, Validation, Growth and the respective attributes of Ideating, Concepting, Committing, Validating, Scaling and Establishing) with the appropriate knowledge and optimal usage of digital skills, technology and tools vis-à-vis the needs of the young in turning their digital skills into tools for stimulating and further developing entrepreneurial activation.

These aspects will feed the structural layout of the modular training provision to be developed in the next phase of the project. Data will be drawn from desktop research findings, and the exploitation of prior knowledge of the consortium partners.

The Methodological framework will be the result of an interdisciplinary approach, involving at the same time both young people as ‘representatives’ of the digital natives generation, as well as experts in skills development.

Digital training modules for digital natives as successful start-uppers.

Digital training modules for digital natives as successful start-uppers.

During this phase, a set of digital modules will be developed both content-wise as well as technically to be made available in an online environment. The proposed structure of the training material will consist of two interconnected axes that couple the development phases of a start-up and underlying entrepreneurial concepts with digital skills, tools, and ways of optimal use thereof according to the nature and needs of each start-up development phase.

ZoomIn Blueprint Intensive Incubation Bootcamp Methodology and Case Study Compilation.

ZoomIn Blueprint Intensive Incubation Bootcamp Methodology and Case Study Compilation.

During this phase, the project capitalizes on the online training provision as modelled along the modular structure developed in the previous phase. This will be done through the organisation of a blueprint intensive incubation bootcamp in project countries Denmark, Greece, Germany and Spain.

During a 3 to 4-day intensive training and consulting workshop offered to creative youth business ideators and wantpreneurs, training will be foreseen to cover all possible digital skills specialisation training needs throughout the 3 start-up development phases.

At the completion of this phase, a case study compilation, in the form of a pdf and e-book, will be brought together including the methodology for the bootcamp and templates to be used in view of increasing transferability for reproducing in other contexts, alongside case studies for storytelling of creative ideation and entrepreneurship training, testimonials, experiences, short videos with participants, presentation of innovative ideas etc.

ZoomIn policy recommendations and impact report.

Upon the project’s completion an overall account regarding the benefits of the ZoomIn training provision for young people and the digital natives generation, youth entrepreneurship support organisations, policy makers in digital skills enhancement, and start-up support will be developed, providing country-specific accounts on the needs of digital skills specialization towards start-up activation of young people, within the context, the policies and priorities of the digital future of Europe.
